FAQ's

Of course you'll find many kinds from the sea off the Turkish coast - this is just a collection of what could be offered in the bays from fishermen or you are lucky to have them yourself on the fishing line you let it go out to the sea during your Blue Cruise.
Due to have not more many fishermen going out to the sea you will find two kinds of farm-fish around here that are here in shops ore restaurants, these are LEVREK and the CIPURA.

Almost half the species of Mediterranean and Aegean are threatened, in addition to at least 12 other fish species. The main threats to fish populations in this region are - predictably and sadly - overfishing and pollution.

An IUCN study has shown that over 40 species of marine fish in the Mediterranean could vanish in just a few years. The IUCN's report also highlights our lack of knowledge about many Mediterranean fish. It is likely that a significant proportion of these little studied fish - found nowhere else in the world - are threatened.
