Goin'
to Greece
When chartering a gullet in
Turkey, you might consider going to Greece for visiting some of the beautiful islands like Symi, Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos
or Patmos.
So let us explain a few points
you should know:
1) There are extra harbor taxes for Greek waters
(about 300 € one week/boat)
2) Passenger limit 12 pax
3) Stops or even anchoring in bays or coves are not allowed, only harbours

Technical Datas
Ideal for a
group up to 8 persons
M/S Gül is a wooden gullet built in the typical Bodrum tradition, she is a classical gulet and even took part
very succesful in the famous yearly Bodrum Regatta for Wooden Yachts.
Owned by a Dutch sailing enthusiast, she is a very well maintained boat with ample space too.
She comes fully equipped with VHF radio, GSM telephone, dinghy with outboard, stereo music system, windsurf, canoe,
fishing and snorkeling equipment, generator and continuous hot water.
The crew consists of captain, chef and sailor and of course they have their own cabin and sanitary part.
Accommodation:
4 Cabins - all with private shower/bath, Berthing capacity up to 8 persons, Separate crew's quarter. Fully equipped
galley, Indoor and outdoor dining, 10 sun matrasses on deck.
Your meals on board:
On M/S Gül you will be served Turkish cuisine at its best. You may choose between
Fullboard
(3 meals + teatime) price € 26,- p/person per day or halfboard
at € 20,- .
If there are vegetarians among your group, no problem at all, the Turkish cuisine with its rich choice of fresh
vegetables is the best solution for that, you just tell us. Soft Drinks and alcoholic drinks are extra
Itinerary: You may start your journey either in Bodrum, Marmaris
or Gocek, we can plan and arrange it with you, depending where you wish to go (see the map
here) or according to your chosen airport, Bodrum or Dalaman.
We also offer to arrange your airport transfers, but
we do not arrange flights.
Let's be honest
about air-condition on gullets
There is nearly
none of the gullet charter-companies who tells you the truth about air-conditition on Gulets. Yes, some do have
AC and you think vou can switch it on when you like. It's not! On a boat the AC can only run when the generator
is on, or in a harbor when connected to 220 Volt. But mainly you are in anchor bays, often next to a neighbor who
doesn't like the noise of your generator and you wouldn't like it either during the night for example.
So most of the gullets have come to a gentlemens agreement not to disturb eachother -
AC will be used on the most of the boats 2-3 hours in the morning or at night from 20 to 24 hours to cool down
the cabins during the hot months.
