Our
voyage starts in Marmaris Situated
on a bay, backed by rugged
pineclad mountains, Marmaris is a
most attractive maritime
parklands, ideal for water sports
and sailing. It makes an excellent
starting point for a "Blue Voyage"
tour of the Aegean coastline. With
plenty of provisions aboard you
set sail in the craft of your
choice and languidly explore the
spectacular beauty of southern
Turkey. More
about Marmaris
Taste Turkish cuisine in one of
the marina restaurants and drink
raki, anisette, the traditional
Turkish way, over ice and diluted
with water. Later stroll along the
brightly lit palm-lined promenade
and indulge yourself at one of the
ice cream vendors. Energetic
entertainment at a lively bar or
dancing until dawn at a
sophisticated disco can end a
perfect day. There are many good
buys in Marmaris's boutiques,
colorlul bazaars and markets.
Travelling west through the pretty
Ekincik region, you reach Dalyan,
Kaunos and Istuzu Beach. Spend a
day exploring this area, starting
with a trip down the densely
vegetated Dalyan river delta to
the ruins of Caunos, which was an
important Carian and Lycian city.
The town of Dalyan is overlooked
by incredible tombs carved,
sometime during the 4th century
BC, into the sheer cliff face
hundreds of feet up. More
about Dalyan and Caunos
According
to local legend , the sulphurous
Mud Baths and hot springs will
‘take ten years off you’. The
golden sands of Istuzu Beach are a
great place to relax, as well as
an important breeding ground for
Caretta Caretta loggerhead sea
turtle
The next major stop is Fethiye. Fethiye was an
important city of the Lycian epoch
- dating back to around 500BC -
when it was known as Telmessos.
Today, there are few remnants of
the town’s history, though there
are still several magnificent
Lycian rock tombs overlooking the
town, the partial ruins of a fort
believed to have been built by the
knights of St John, and a recently
unearthed amphitheatre. An
earthquake destroyed much of the
town in the 1950s.

information
All
tours which are
offered here take
place on
a Standard Gulet Yacht
with
Air-condition (up
to 8 hours a
day),
the traditional
Bodrum-built GULET.
The use of air conditioning during port accommodations is strictly prohibited by the port authority. All yachts are
between 19 - 25
meters length, these
vessels accommodate
between 12 and 16
guests in 6 to 8
cabins. The
cabins have en-suite
WC & handheld
showers. (Hot &
cold). There is a
music set, VHF
Radiotelephone and a
dinghy on each yacht.
Crew consists of a
captain, cook and a
deckhand. Our boats have Wi-fi available, and it is surcharge (reception just in Turkish waters)
An exact
yacht’s name can not
be available until 1
or 2 days before
departure, as
numbers of bookings
come in often late.
This works well over
the years like a
cooperative and we
advice you to give
us your mobile phone
that we stay in
contact to give you
captain's number and
boat name.
The crew aboard our
Gulets and yachts
often do not have a
foreign language
mastered, but they
almost always know a
few ’every-day’
phrases and are able
to understand almost
all requests.
