Here is a rough guide of your week on the boat

Boarding starts at 15:30 from Bodrum Harbour. Guests who arrive early can leave their luggage at the Barbaros Yachting Office. On the first day, our boat will be anchored in Bodrum Port for dinner and overnight stay. Bodrum has a history that goes back to the 12th century B.C. The city which was called 'Halicarnassus' was the birthplace of Herodotus; the 'Father of History' who lived in the 5th century B.C. The 'Mausoleum' of King Mausolus (350 B.C.) one of the Seven Wonders of the World is in this city. The only structure that survived from the Classical Era is the Amphitheatre. It is one of the oldest theatres in Anatolia with a capacity of 13.000 guests and it is still hosting many shows and concerts for the art-lovers of Bodrum. Another place that you should visit when you arrive in Bodrum is the landmark of the city, the 'Castle of Saint Peter'.

It is one of the best preserved pieces of architecture with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. 'Myndos Gate' through which Alexander the Great entered Halicarnassus is another place that you should not miss.

Day 2:
Early in the morning, we will cruise to Knidos. If the weather conditions permit, we can use the sail on the way. Cnidus was a developed city in science, art and architecture. Eudoxos, a very popular astronomer and maths professor; Dr. Euryphon; Polygontos, a popular painter; Skopas and Bryaksis of Faros, the most famous sculptors of the era; Sostrates, the architect of Alexandrian light house -one of the seven wonders of the World- and Ktesias the doctor, who saved the life of a Persian king from a disaster, lived on this island. Dr. Euryphon and his students founded the second biggest medical science school in Cnidus. The island also hosts the largest sun clock of its time which was erected by Eudoksos. Knidos was the home for Aphrodite's monument and in those times the city was famous for brothels and became popular for sailors and Arabic tradesmen. You may also take a walk on the shore to see the ruins. Then we will cruise to Mersincik for dinner and overnight stay. If the weather conditions permit, we can use the sail on the way.
more about Knidos

Early in the morning, we will move to Çati Bay where you will have your breakfast. It is a pleasant bay which is located at the southern part of the
Gulf of Gökova and surrounded by the pine trees. Then we will cruise to Seven Islands for lunch. You will experience another excellent day in the Seven Islands Region. In this region which is full of many small islands and coral reef; it is recommended that you should dive, swim, sleep and rest. Our guests can also enjoy a walk in the forests which are filled with pine trees. Our first stop in Seven Islands Region will be Küfre Bay. Then we will be anchoring in Uzun Liman (Long Port) for dinner and overnight stay.

The gulet will be anchoring in Tuzla Bay to enjoy a swimming break in the turquoise- blue waters. Breakfast will be served here. After lunch, you can enjoy a short walk in the forest and take a rest in Ali Baba's local shed-like cafe. Later we will cruise to English Port for dinner and overnight stay. The name English Port comes from the time of 2nd World War when the ships of English Navy forces used to dock here. In this area, there are so many small and large bays which are suitable and sheltered enough to anchor for the boats.

In the morning, we will cruise to Akbük. If the weather conditions permit, we can use the sail on the way. Later we will cruise to Sedir (Cedrae) Island and tea time service will be done here. This unique island with its small beach and unbelievable clear water is like an open-air museum. You can walk around the wrecks of pillars with antique writings on them or the ancient stones decorated with reliefs. Cleopatra beach, located on this island has a very special kind of sand that can only be found in the deserts of Northern Africa. Cabin Charter - general information

Gulet for Cabin Charter on a Blue Cruise

The tour which is offered here take place only on 4-5 star Premium class Yachts, the traditional Bodrum-built Wooden GULET. All yachts are between 24 - 28 meters length, these vessels accommodate between 12 and 16 guests in 6 to 8 cabins. The cabins have en-suite WC & showers. (Hot & cold). There is a music set, VHF Radiotelephone and a dinghy on each yacht, on this route the air ccondition will work for about 8 hours a day, including morning and evening times. The Crew of three consists mainly of a captain, cook and a deckshand.
An exact yacht’s name can not be available until 1 or 2 days before departure, as numbers of bookings come in often late. This works well over the years like a cooperative and we advice you to give us your mobile phone that we stay in contact to give you captain's number and boat name.
The crew aboard our Gulets and yachts often do not have a foreign language mastered, but they almost always know a few ’every-day’ phrases and are able to understand almost all requests.
